Tek-IT and ATOP TV, have collaborated to create the first ever Lobby TV delivered over IP. It is legal. It is properly licensed, and it is inexpensive.

It is super cool.

If you operate a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), Retail location, or even an office, the idea of having a TV for your guests is an over-priced proposition. Think about it. How many times have you sat in front of a TV with CP24 or BNN in a lobby with the volume off? Seems like a bad use of money considering you pay for both the audio and video.

With that said, we thought we would fix the problem with a bundling of ‘essential’ channels to cater the most discerning man, woman or even screaming child waiting for his or her sandwich to arrive.

It is a basic line up of exactly the channels that you want – all delivered over a private and secure connection from Tek-IT.

How does it work?

It is super simple. Instead of a clunky, overpriced set-top-box, We are an “app” on the Apple and Roku store. Just plug your device into your TV then download the application and enter your four (4) digit activation code. Once entered your network connection will be verified as a private connection and that is it. You will be watching high quality, Linear TV for less than you pay today.

If you have multiple locations, you can now work with one vendor for each of your locations.

Apple TV is a digital media player and micro-console developed and sold by Apple Inc. It is a small network appliance and entertainment device that can receive digital data from a number of sources and stream it to a capable television. Apple TV is an HDMI-compliant source device.

Apple TV allows you to watch paid and free content from the Internet such as ATOP TV, Netflix, Amazon, YouTube, and much more, on your TV.

You can purchase this device at any Bestbuy, Walmart or Source location as well as on-line at various retailers including Amazon.

Roku connects to the Internet through your existing Wi-Fi network or Ethernet cable. You will need a Tek-IT Internet connection to use it. Roku allows you to watch paid and free content from the Internet such as ATOP TV, Netflix, Amazon, YouTube, and much more, on your TV. Roku comes already installed on many TV’s sold today.
