Fire
The datacentre utilizes state of the art fire detection and suppression systems including Honeywell's Notifier platform.To catch the earliest signs of a potential risk, the Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus (VESDA) subsystem continually monitors all sensors with ultra-precise reliability.The FM-200 fire suppression system is the second line of defense upon detection of a threat. The non-toxic gas is released into the pressurized data center facility, extinguishing the fire.The datacentre utilizes dry pre-action sprinkler systems to ensures that there is no water within the sprinkler lines unless alarms have triggered, and enabled the Notifier system to charge the lines with water.As a safety measure, the Notifier system is fully monitored and upon a possible detection of fire, local fire departments and other emergency services are dispatched.
Power
Diesel powered generators allow our facility to be independant of the local power grid to guarantee uptime. Our on-site generators and uninterruptible power systems (UPS) provide redundancy in our power subsystem to ensure uninterrupted operation to all services. The 2N infrastructure ensures that a true A and B feed are available at all times, and multiple redundancies within each level guarantee that there is no single point of failure within any of the A or B subsystems.
Climate
Our elaborate climate control system for our data centers embody numerous subsystems to achieve a highly resilient and redundant subsystems. The temperature within the data center is maintained by strict internal checks and controls to ensure that your infrastructure is functioning optimally.
Security
Physical entrance to the facility is restricted by a three tier physical challenge system. This level of security ensures that any of our tenants, visitors or contractors must pass BioMetric, PIN Code and Card Access verification to enter. In order to ensure the upmost security, all maintenance personnel must be escorted to any mission critical areas. Critical areas include Power, Security, Network and Fire subsystem designated areas. Our clients can rest assured that their infrastructure will be guarded safely. CCTV is deployed throughout the entire facility to keep a close eye on every inch of the facility. Enabled with instant offsite archiving, digital video is archived for up to 30 days. The technology utilizes a variety of camera technologies specifically designed for each unique area that CCTV feeds are required.
Connectivity
Our Managed Internet Access bandwidth utilizes multiple tier 1 providers. This blend of carriers and peers offers you flexibility, reliability and scalability. IPv4 and IPv6 protocols are both deployed, and distributed throughout our Cisco core infrastructure. The network topology ensures that 100% uptime is achieved, and that all network users take advantage of our peering partners. Network traffic is continuously monitered for patterns to determine where growth and new capacity requirements may derive from.
